The Chevrolet Corvette (C2) is the second generation of the Chevrolet Corvette sports car, produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1963 through 1967 model years.

Powered by a 327ci (5.3Lt) fuel injected V8 engine, it produced when new 375bhp (280Kw) and 350 ft lbs (475Nm) of power and torque, delivered to the rear wheels via a Muncie 4 speed manual gearbox. Performance claimed at the time suggests 0-100kph in 7.1 secs and a top speed near 185kph. The performance figures were over shadowed purely by both the car’s looks and the sound of that 327ci V8 growling down the road.
